Here's what people are saying about Sunshine Elderly Residential Care Home.
John & Florica
I, Doris Heinze, I've been a resident of Sunshine Residential Care for more than a year. I like it here for the special care that I get. Our rooms are kept immaculate by the every day housekeeping. Linens are always fresh. My personal laundry is taken an returned the next day. Tasteful meal served on time. Medication are carefully given. There is always a quick response when I ring the bell for aid. You made a good choice hiring the caregiver. She always takes good care of me. I am very comfortable here.
We would like to express our special thanks to you for the love and care given to out Mother Grace since she moved into your home. She adjusted so well from day one and because she's happy we are happy too.
We appreciate a wonderful clean home, good food and the attention she is getting.
We also appreciate the warm welcome we receive each time we visit.

I knew when I stepped into Sunshine Residential Care that this was the place for my dear Mom to be, always felt like this was where God had chosen. I could not ask for any better one-on-one care for her.
The caregivers are very kind and loving which is very important. They always help right on top of all medical needs. The surrounding in the home are always very clean and the food is always very nutritional for her.
Thank you Sunshine!!
I recently came to Sunshine Residential Care. I was here while my future wife was waiting to have surgery. While I was here John and the caregiver were very helpful to me. I was fed three good meal plus two snacks each day. My clothes were washed promptly. My medicine was give to me each day at the right time and right amounts. Plus if I had questions the always tried to answer me.
I appreciate this a lot. I highly recommend this Sunshine Residential Care.

Flory and John, thank you so very much for providing the at-home setting I was seeking for my mother who suffer from Alzheimer's disease. From the first moment I walked into your home I felt that my Mother would be safe and secure and well cared for. Today I am more sure that ever that my Mother is getting the proper care she so deserves at 92 years old. Whenever I visit, I am treated like one of the family. Thank you so much for providing this atmosphere for my Mother as well as the other people at your home.
Having Mother with Sunshine has made life easier for Mom as she does not have to be shuffled back and forth between me and my brother who lives in Florida. She feels at home at Sunshine. In fact, when we bring her out for a visit, she is ready and tells me it is time for me to take her home.
You have brought much peace to our minds regarding our Mother's care. Thank you for all of your hard work and bless you as you continue your mission of caring for the elderly.

Billy and I greatly appreciate the professionalism, concern and love you showed our grandmother, Dorothy Abbott.
When Mom Abbott's daughter passed in August, 2009 and we moved her to Georgia, we were so overwhelmed with the responsibility of her care. When Billy returned home after one visit to Sunshine PCH, he had already made his decision to place her under your guardianship. Coming from him, that was indeed a compliment!
His first impression was the cleanliness of your facility. One would never guess that it housed senior citizens because it was in every way meticulously kept home, in and out. Since Mom Abbott made her living as housekeeper, we knew she would be pleased, and she was. As an experienced CNA, we were satisfied with Flory's authority in her field. The Sunshine PCH is operated as a family business therefore Mom Abbott and we became attached to not only Flory and John but their children as well. The character of their children is a reflection of the parents.
The Todorut's are "good people" who welcomed and made us a part of their family. We have been so very blessed to have met them and will always remember how they conforted our grandmother during her final days.

My mother has been a resident of Sunshine since April, 2010. She went through an adjustment period because she moved directly from her home and she was upset at first. Florica and John were really patient and helped my Mom to adjust.
I wanted a place were there was individual attention in a small setting and this has been a good fit so far. The home is always clean, the meals are nutritional, and they provide activities based on the residents abilities. All the residents get along well; Florica and John are willing to discuss any concerns you may have, and communicate on a regular basis.
I recommend Sunshine Residential Care because they design their care to each residents needs and don't use a "one size fits all".

I would just like to take a moment to recommend the Sunshine Residential Care for any personal care home needs. The house is immaculate, the bedrooms have a lot of space, and the host family, the Todorut's, are warm, friendly and caring.
They make you definitely feel like a part of the family.
My 91 years old father was a resident for a couple of weeks. Unfortunately, his stay was short because his medical condition was beyond what any personal care home could do for him and had to be placed in a hospice home.
Had that not been the case, I am quite sure he would have benefited from being there.
